Product details
General Use and Protection
The Hoya UX II UV filter is a clear, general-purpose filter designed to absorb ultraviolet light without adding coloration or contrast, allowing seamless pairing with other filters. It serves as a protective barrier for lenses, reducing dust, moisture, and potential damage from drops or scratches.
Advanced Coatings and Design
This filter features a multi-layer Hoya HMC water-repellent coating that repels water droplets and facilitates easy cleaning of dirt and fingerprints. The anti-reflection coating minimizes unwanted reflections and enhances light transmission for clearer images.
Performance Benefits
- Ideal for outdoor photography, especially in UV-rich environments such as seaside or mountainous areas.
- Reduces blue tint caused by ultraviolet light.
- Increases image contrast and eliminates haze or light fog effects.
- Protects the front element of the lens from damage.
Design Features
- Slim black aluminium frame prevents vignetting, even on wide-angle lenses.
- Compatible with lenses featuring a 72 mm filter thread.
Series Concept
The UX II series, where "UX" stands for "User eXperience," is designed to provide entry-level users with high-quality filters that enhance photographic experiences through improved image quality and lens protection.
