The NiSi SMC UV L395 series ultra-thin filter is crafted from high-quality Japanese optical glass using a special double-sided multi-layer anti-reflective coating technology. This ensures minimal reflection and allows more than 98.3% of light to pass through. The filter effectively cuts UV light below 395 nm wavelength.

The filter frame is made from premium aluminum and is the thinnest in the world at only 3 mm thickness. This ultra-thin design perfectly fits even super wide-angle lenses to completely avoid vignetting. The frame features a superfine matte polish to prevent reflections and precise knurling to ensure durability against wear from repeated rotation.

All materials used comply with the European Union's RoHS environmental protection standards, containing no hazardous substances. Additionally, the front of the filter frame has screw threads to easily attach lens caps and other accessories.
