The NiSi SMC UV L395 series features ultra-thin filters made from high-quality Japanese optical glass with a special double-sided multi-layer anti-reflective coating. This coating minimizes reflections and allows over 98.3% light transmission. The filter effectively blocks UV light below 395 nm.

The filter frame is crafted from premium aluminum and is only 3 mm thick, making it the thinnest filter frame in the world. This ultra-thin design perfectly fits even super wide-angle lenses to prevent vignetting. The frame has a fine matte polish to reduce reflections and detailed knurling to prevent wear and discoloration from repeated rotation.

All materials used comply with the European Union's RoHS environmental protection standards, ensuring no hazardous substances are present. The front of the filter frame includes a screw thread, allowing easy attachment of lens caps and other accessories.
