Max Charging Current 6A
The S-3812S can charge 2 V-mount batteries simultaneously at a maximum 6A fast charging current for SWIT specific batteries, significantly faster than standard chargers. The following battery models support 6A fast charging:
- PB-H290S
- PB-S220S
- PB-R160S
- PB-R290S
- S-8340S
- S-8360S
- D-8161S
- S-8180S
- S-8113S
- S-8183S
For other batteries, the charging current is 3A.

AC-DC Adapting Output
The S-3812S supports 1-channel AC-DC adapting output via a 4-pin XLR port. Using the S-7102 cable (4-pin XLR female to male), it can supply 16.8V DC power to other equipment with a maximum load of 200W/12A. When the adapting load is less than 100W, the S-3812S can still charge batteries simultaneously (2 batteries sequentially).
Battery-DC Adapting Output
Batteries can be mounted onto the S-3812S, allowing DC power output via the 4-pin XLR port. The S-7102 cable can supply 16.8V DC power to other equipment with a maximum load of 200W/12A.
LCD Charging Info Display
The S-3812S features an LCD screen that displays real-time charging/adapting information, including:
- Battery charging/discharging status
- Real-time capacity and percentage
- Real-time voltage/current
- Remaining time to fully charged
- Remaining time to fully discharged
- Battery cycle times
- Adapting output current and power
Note: The battery info display is only available with SWIT digital Li-ion batteries (S-8320S, S-8340S, S-8360S, D-8161S/R). For other non-digital batteries, the charger will only display real-time voltage and current.
3-Color LED Indicators
The S-3812S has 3-color LED indicators for both channels:
- Red light slowly flashes: The battery is charging
- Red light fast flashes: The battery is about to be fully charged
- Green light constant: The battery is fully charged
- Green light flashes: The battery is adapting output
- Orange light flashes: Battery or charger abnormal alert
