Rugged V-Mount battery
The SmallRig 5865 T221 Triple-Proof V-Mount battery features a fully enclosed housing made from TPU and metal, with internal supports that secure the battery cells and circuit boards. It is designed to withstand demanding production environments, including drops from up to 1.8 m. Its IP54 rating provides protection against dust ingress and splashes, helping maintain reliable operation outdoors in rain and other challenging conditions.
Power and charging
The multi-port design provides 1 BP port, 4 D-Tap ports, 2 USB-C ports and 1 USB-A port to power professional camera and production equipment. Both USB-C ports support bidirectional 140 W PD fast charging. A composite cooling system using materials including graphene and thermal paste helps the battery recharge fully in approximately 2 hours.
High-quality LG battery cells work with a BMS intelligent control chip and precision circuit design to provide protection against overheating, overload, overvoltage, short circuits, overcharging and excessive discharge.
Design details
Illuminated indicators make installation and operation easier in low light. The battery also has mounting holes with 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch threads for flexible mounting options.
