4K 15x Optical Zoom Lens
The integrated Canon lens offers a wide-angle 25.5 – 382mm (35mm equivalent) zoom range with 15x optical zoom. A digital zoom extends up to 300x, supported by advanced 5-axis optical and dynamic image stabilization for steady footage.
Fast and Precise Focusing with Face Detection
Featuring Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology, the XA70 provides fast and accurate autofocus with adjustable focusing speeds. The 3.5-inch touch screen LCD allows easy selection of focus points by touch. Face Detection AF and Face Tracking are available, and manual focus can be controlled via the focus/zoom ring.
Flexible Recording Formats
Record in either XF-AVC or MP4 formats for versatile workflow options. XF-AVC supports 4K UHD recording at 160 Mbps (25p) and Full HD at 45 Mbps (50p/50i/25p). MP4 recording offers 4K UHD at 150 Mbps (25p) and Full HD at 35 Mbps or 17 Mbps (50p/25p) for smaller file sizes.
