Blackmagic Design DeckLink IP
Blackmagic Design DeckLink IP is a family of PCIe cards designed for capturing and playing back 10-bit uncompressed, broadcast-quality video directly into SMPTE 2110 IP-based broadcast systems. These cards support multiple video channels, enabling simultaneous capture and playback on each channel.
Models
- DeckLink IP HD: Provides 3 channels of capture and playback to 2110 IP broadcast systems via a single RJ45 Ethernet connection.
- DeckLink IP HD Optical: Offers 3 channels of capture and playback to 2110 IP broadcast systems through an SFP-based optical fiber Ethernet connection.
- DeckLink IP/SDI HD: Supports connection to both 3G-SDI and 2110 IP systems, featuring 2 capture and playback channels to 2110 IP via RJ45 Ethernet, 3G-SDI inputs/outputs, and reference output.
Video Standards
All models support HD video standards including 720p, 1080i, and 1080p up to 1080p60 frame rate. Available since June 2023.
Features
DeckLink IP cards provide a straightforward solution for capturing and playing back video directly into SMPTE 2110 IP broadcast infrastructures. They retain the full DeckLink feature set, ensuring compatibility with existing software workflows. This enables users to build server racks for broadcast graphics generation, virtual sets, or GPU-accelerated AI image processing, all integrated within 2110 IP broadcast environments. Additionally, DaVinci Resolve supports 2110 IP-based broadcast editing workflows.

The cards utilize a high-speed PCI Express interface, compatible with modern Mac Pro, Windows, and Linux workstations.
