Blackmagic Design DeckLink IP
Blackmagic Design DeckLink IP is a family of PCIe capture and playback cards designed for 10-bit uncompressed, broadcast quality video integration into SMPTE 2110 IP-based broadcast systems. These cards support multiple simultaneous video channels for capture and playback.
Models
- DeckLink IP HD: Provides 3 channels of capture and playback via a single RJ45 Ethernet connection to 2110 IP broadcast systems.
- DeckLink IP HD Optical: Offers 3 channels of capture and playback through an SFP-based optical fiber Ethernet connection to 2110 IP broadcast systems.
- DeckLink IP/SDI HD: Enables connectivity to both 3G-SDI and 2110 IP systems, featuring 2 capture and playback channels to 2110 IP via RJ45 Ethernet, 3G-SDI inputs/outputs, and reference output.
Video Standards
All models support HD video formats including 720p, 1080i, and 1080p up to 60 frames per second. Availability began in June 2023.
Features
DeckLink IP cards provide seamless capture and playback directly into 2110 IP broadcast infrastructures while maintaining full compatibility with existing DeckLink software features. This enables integration into server racks for broadcast graphics generation, virtual sets, and GPU-accelerated AI image processing within 2110 IP environments. Additionally, these cards support DaVinci Resolve for editing workflows based on 2110 IP broadcast systems.

Equipped with a high-speed PCIe interface, DeckLink IP cards are compatible with modern Mac Pro, Windows, and Linux workstations.
