Advanced RGBWW Lighting Technology
The Aputure Amaran AL-MC is Aputure's first RGBWW film light, featuring HSI color control and a wide CCT range from 3200K to 6500K. It delivers high color accuracy with CRI and TLCI scores above 96, and SSI scores of 84 in tungsten and 74 in daylight. Unlike traditional RGB lights that use only red, green, and blue LEDs, the AL-MC includes two additional white LEDs balanced for tungsten and daylight, enabling superior color rendering in a compact form factor.
Color and Effects Control
The light offers 360° hue adjustment and 100 levels of saturation control, allowing precise color customization. It includes nine built-in lighting effect presets such as Paparazzi, Fireworks, Faulty Bulb, Lightning, TV, Pulsing, Fire, Party, and Cop Car. These effects can be toggled directly on the device or finely adjusted via the Sidus Link mobile app, which unlocks full control over all effect parameters.
Connectivity and Control
The AL-MC is the first RGBWW light compatible with the Sidus Link app, enabling wireless control up to 400 meters. Using Sidus Mesh technology, up to 100 lights can be networked and controlled simultaneously. The app provides enhanced control over HSI, CCT, and FX functions, including the innovative Color Picker feature that captures colors from your phone camera and reproduces them instantly on the light.
Compact Design and Mounting
Weighing only 130 grams and measuring 93×61×17 mm, the AL-MC is roughly the size of a credit card and fits easily in the palm of your hand. It features built-in magnets and a 1/4"-20 screw mount for versatile placement options, including on-camera use or off-screen accent lighting. Its slim profile allows multiple units to be carried conveniently in camera bags or pockets.

Charging Options
The AL-MC supports multiple convenient charging methods including USB-C Power Delivery quick charge and Qi wireless charging. It can be fully charged in about 90 minutes using an 18W USB-C PD charger. Optional 4-light and 12-light wireless charging case kits are available, and a charging station powered by AC or D-Tap is also supported.
