The Fiber Dock System One from FieldCast provides a comprehensive solution for monitoring and controlling up to four PTZ cameras using fiber optic cables. This system includes the Fiber Dock One, four PTZ Monk fiber converters, hybrid fiber optic cable, and a power cable for the Dock One.
The Fiber Dock One is a 1 RU device that serves as the central hub for connecting and managing the PTZ cameras. It features four hybrid fiber inputs, allowing you to connect the four PTZ Monk fiber converters using the included hybrid fiber cable. This setup enables control, power distribution, and monitoring of up to four 3G-SDI PTZ cameras.
With its four dual 3G-SDI outputs, the Fiber Dock One allows you to monitor and switch the camera signals as needed. This provides flexibility in managing the PTZ camera feeds. Additionally, the device includes a LAN Ethernet port, enabling network connectivity for remote control and management of the cameras. It also features a 4-pin XLR power port, which can be used with an optional IP controller for power supply.
