10 Steps Counterbalance
Most professional tripods include a counterbalance system for various camera weights. The 10-step counterbalance on the VHS18 allows you to stop the camera at any desired position, accommodating weights up to 18 kg.
7+0 Steps Damping Adjustment
The counterbalance adjustment is not stepless, so adding or removing accessories may disrupt balance. The 7+0 damping adjustment for panning and tilting helps maintain balance with different weights during shooting.
The head offers 360 degrees of panning and -65 to +90 degrees of tilting.
Side Loading Plate
The VHS18 features a side loading design, allowing easy and quick insertion of both lightweight and heavy equipment from one side.
After side loading, there is a 30mm range for adjustment, making it perfect for shooting with telephoto lenses.
