Redesigned with features from the revolutionary Sachtler aktiv fluid head range, the FSB 8 system delivers precision movement with finely calibrated drag and counterbalance for perfect shots. Its streamlined profile is built to withstand tough conditions, providing repeatable and reliable camera support.
The FSB 8 features Speedbalance technology to finely balance any camera payload from 0 kg up to 12 kg. The snap-and-go side loading mechanism with a sliding range of 120 mm simplifies mounting and positioning of accessorized cameras. The illuminated PrismBubble is visible from any height, day or night, to help ensure your setup is level.
Create precision pans with smooth starts and soft stops using patented Sachtler drag technology, which provides subtle and smooth movement. Seven horizontal and vertical drag settings allow tuning of drag to match your payload.
Tripod Features
The system includes a lightweight 2-stage aluminium 75 mm tripod that is portable without sacrificing strength. The tripod bowl has three 3/8" accessory mounting points for adding extras like a Magic Arm. The included carry handle facilitates one-handed transport. A detachable mid-level spreader provides stability on rough ground, and a padded bag is included for transportation.
