Compact carbon-fibre tripod kit
The Leofoto LY-265CV Mr.Y Series is a lightweight, five-section carbon-fibre tripod kit with an inverted ball head and integrated video head. Its distinctive design combines compact storage with flexible positioning for photography and video.
Inverted ball head and video functions
The precision-machined inverted ball moves smoothly and sits low in the apex bowl, helping reduce the tripod’s overall height when folded while providing a secure locking system. Dual notches support vertical positioning, and the included video head provides smooth 360° panning. Geared 360° panning is optional. The head is compatible with Arca-Swiss-style components.
Compact, adjustable design
- Flip leg locks: The redesigned locks support efficient setup and help the legs fold into a compact profile.
- Triangular centre column: Its shape allows the tripod legs to close more tightly than with a conventional round column, reducing the packed size.
- Elongated centre-column lock: The updated locking design is intended to improve stability.
- Low-angle setup: The ball head can be rotated 90° vertically. Using the included hex wrench, the centre column can be separated into two sections for low-level positioning.
- Inverted centre column: Release the apex locking lever and turn the weight hook to remove the centre column. The included short centre-column accessory can be fitted to the original long column when using other heads.
- Protection and handling: The design incorporates anti-scratch and shock-absorption features.
