SmallRig 6079 Heavy-Duty Carbon Fibre Video Tripod

Built from carbon fibre and aluminium alloy, this video tripod has four-section legs with flip-locks. It reaches a maximum working height of 1.8 m, and its legs support a maximum load of 30 kg.

The tripod includes a fluid video head with an 8 kg payload capacity and 5 kg counterbalance, designed to meet the video production needs of small studios and independent videographers.

Levelling and storage

  • An integrated half-ball head provides ±8° of tilt adjustment for quick levelling of the fluid head.
  • The half-ball head uses a side-locking design, so it can be adjusted and secured from the side rather than underneath. This frees space around the leg tubes and reduces the folded tripod diameter by 30%.

Leg adjustment and stability

  • Three leg-angle settings: 25°, 55° and 85°, for high and low camera positions.
  • Extended foot pads provide stable support and help prevent slipping during camera movements.

Compatibility

  • The tripod is compatible with heads or equipment featuring 1/4″-20 threaded connections.
  • The head supports cameras, camera cages and other devices with 1/4″-20 or 3/8″-16 threaded holes.
