Wireless Lavalier Microphone System

The Boya UHF Dual Lavalier Microphone Wireless BY-WM8 Pro-K1 is a professional wireless microphone set designed for interviews, ENG/EFP, movie productions, and similar applications. It is an upgraded version of the BY-WM6 and BY-WM8 models, featuring significantly improved sound quality due to a much lower distortion rate and a lighter weight design.

Power and Range

Both the transmitter and receiver are powered by two AA batteries each (not included), providing up to 6 hours of continuous use. The system offers a maximum operating range of up to 100 meters in open environments without obstacles. It supports the addition of a second transmitter for dual-microphone setups.

Compatibility

The BY-WM8 Pro-K1 is compatible with DSLR cameras, camcorders, and audio recorders. An optional smartphone adapter allows connection to mobile phones for versatile recording options.

Usage

The interviewee wears the lavalier microphone connected to the transmitter, which can be clipped to a belt. The receiver connects to the camera via cable and mounts on the camera's hotshoe. The receiver also includes a 1/4" female thread for tripod mounting and a headphone output for real-time audio monitoring.
