The Kimafun KM-CX220-3 is a wireless microphone system designed specifically for violins and violas, operating in the 2.4 GHz frequency band. The system includes a transmitter with a condenser microphone capsule mounted on a flexible gooseneck and a receiver that connects to recording devices such as cameras, camcorders, or audio recorders via a 3.5 mm TRS mini jack. A 6.35 mm jack adapter is also included for compatibility with various audio inputs.

Microphone Mount and Sound Quality

The microphone is attached near the chin of the player using a flexible soft rubber grip that dampens instrument vibrations and leaves no residue on the instrument. The microphone features a unidirectional (directional) pickup pattern, ensuring clear and natural timbre capture of the violin or viola sound.

Power and Battery

Both the transmitter and receiver have built-in rechargeable batteries, providing 5 to 6 hours of continuous operation. Charging is conveniently done via USB ports. The entire system is stored in a padded carrying case for protection and portability.
