DJI Mic Overview
Content creators of all experience levels can enhance the production values of their videos, interviews, and streaming with the DJI Mic, a truly wireless digital microphone/recorder system that delivers vivid audio quality. It captures audio from two subjects simultaneously to DSLR/mirrorless cameras or iOS/Android smartphones. The system records clear audio at distances of up to 820' using two miniature clip-on omnidirectional mics/transmitters, which also serve as backup recorders for worry-free wireless operation. The compact receiver can be mounted on a DSLR camera or DJI Action 2 camera or plugged directly into the Lightning/USB port of a smartphone or laptop. With Fast Pairing, the transmitters and receiver automatically charge and pair when placed in the charging case, allowing for quick setup and immediate recording.
Wearable and Portable Microphones
For a truly wireless experience, attach a transmitter to your clothing using the integrated back clip or clip magnets, eliminating the need for wires. The transmitter can also be used as a handheld microphone or as a lavalier mic without needing a separate microphone. It can operate as a traditional bodypack transmitter by connecting an external lav mic (available separately). The internal mic features an omnidirectional pickup pattern for reliable speech capture, ensuring clarity and consistency even with less-than-ideal mic placement. Weighing approximately 1 oz, the miniature transmitter is comfortable to wear and easy to conceal on camera. Two furry windscreens are included to suppress wind noise while recording clear sound.
High-Quality Audio with Flexibility for Post-Production
The DJI Mic records high-fidelity audio, accurately reproducing tone across a wide frequency range. The microphones can be combined and recorded in mono or separately, allowing for individual dialog isolation and level adjustment in post-production. You can monitor sound via the receiver's 3.5mm headphone output while recording. The Safety Track mode records a secondary audio track (in mono) at a lower volume of -6 dB as a backup, safeguarding against unforeseen level spikes.
Built-In Recorders and Safety Track
Both transmitters feature onboard recording capability with 8GB of storage for up to 14 hours of backup recording. This allows audio to be recorded directly to each transmitter as a backup in case of wireless interference. The transmitters can also function as standalone recorders. Files are saved in 48 kHz/24-bit mono WAV format and can be transferred to a computer via USB Type-C cable.

The DJI Mic records crisp audio at distances of up to 820' using DJI's encryption technology for secure communications. The optimized wireless transmission system ensures stable audio streaming, even in busy environments like train stations and shopping malls. It operates in the 2.4 GHz frequency band, avoiding interference from TV and radio waves.
Easy to Operate with Built-In Touchscreen
The receiver's touchscreen interface simplifies system configuration. Users can view and adjust gain levels between -12 and +12 dB, check battery life, recording status, and wireless signal strength. The touchscreen allows for remote muting of the transmitter's microphone, starting or stopping recordings, adjusting headphone volume, and switching between stereo, mono, or -6 dB safety track modes.

The ultra-portable charging case is ideal for the DJI Mic, allowing for charging of the transmitters and receiver, convenient storage, and fast pairing right out of the case. The transmitters offer 5.5 hours of battery life, the receiver provides 5 hours, and the charging case extends total usage to up to 15 hours.
Vastly Compatible
DJI Mic is compatible with various devices, accommodating different input adapters. For smartphone use, insert either the Lightning or USB Type-C adapter into the receiver's expansion port and connect to your phone. The receiver can be mounted on the hot shoe of a DSLR/mirrorless camera using the included hot-shoe adapter. A 3.5mm TRS cable connects the camera's mic connector to the receiver's audio-output connector, enabling seamless filming.
