KOWA DIGIADAPTER DSLR TSN-600/660/82SV

The TSN-PA8 is a camera adapter for the TSN820, TSN820M, TSN-610, TSN-601/TS-602 und TSN-1/2/3/4 serie spotting scopes. This camera adapter is put over the ocular of your spotting scope directly. With an optional T2 ring the adapter fits on the bayonet mount of your reflex camera. Ideal for digiscoping and a perfect solution for taking good pictures at an even greater distance.

TSN-DA1: Digital camera adapter for TSN-600/660/82SV series for taking pictures through the eyepiece mounted on the spottingscope.

TSN-PA or TSN-DA adapter

There is a big difference between a TSN-DA and TSN-PA adapter. The TSN-DA must be mounted on the eyepiece while the TSN-PA falls completely over the eyepiece and attaches to the body of the spotting scope. So the TSN-PA gives a more stable connection, but when you want to connect your camera to the camera lens' filter thread, buy a TSN-DA. The TSN-DA adapters can be found among the optional accessories.

TSN-PA8 or TSN-PA7A

 The Kowa TSN-PA8 can be used with the following spotting scopes:

• Kowa TSN-601/ TSN-66 and TSN-82SV series combined with a TE-Z9B or TE-14WD eyepiece
• Kowa TSN 550 series
• Kowa High Lander combined with 21x / 32x and 50x eyepieces

The TSN-PA8 is also compatible with many historical spotting scopes and eyepieces. If you own such a historical model, please inquire about the possibilities.

Easy installation

Installation of this Digiscoping solution is easy. Within 1 minute, the complete set-up is complete. See images for a diagram.

1. Remove the eyepiece from the scope and remove the protective ring on the body. Screw the TSN-PA8 inner ring onto this. This provides the stable connection.
2. Connect the T2 adapter to the TSN-PA8 adapter and connect it to your camera body.
3. After this, slide the whole assembly over the eyepiece and the inner ring, then secure it with the thumbscrew.
4. Some cameras require a setting to be changed in the menu because the camera does not detect a lens. More information on this can be found in the camera manual.
