System Overview
The Falcon Eyes B-3030C Ceiling Rail System is designed for professional photo studios, allowing flexible positioning and height adjustment of studio flash units without the need for light stands. The system includes a 3 x 3 meter rail framework with 4 pantographs for mounting lighting equipment.
Rail and Pantograph Movement
- The bottom rails slide along the top rails via rail carriages, enabling forward and backward movement.
- Pantographs run along the bottom rails on track runners, allowing left-to-right movement.
- Pantographs are mounted on integrated spigots within the rail runners, providing secure attachment points for studio flash units or accessories.
Load Capacity and Adjustments
- Each pantograph supports up to 6.5 kg of equipment.
- For optimal operation, a minimum load of 1 kg per spigot is recommended to prevent upward shifting; 600 grams is the absolute minimum.
- Lightweight studio flashes can have their carrying weight adjusted via a setting ring using a screwdriver.
Compatibility and Extensions
- Additional spigot adapters of various sizes are available for equipment that does not fit the supplied spigots.
- The system can be extended from 3 x 3 m to 3 x 6 m using an optional extension set.
