The Azden SMH-X is a universal X-mount microphone shock mount designed to provide superior isolation for shotgun microphones. It uses an innovative suspension system originally developed for the SMX-30 microphone, replacing traditional rubber bands with a robust, nearly indestructible material that resists deformation and wear over time.

Key Features

• Suspends microphones to minimize handling noise, vibration, and camera lens motor noise.
• Fits microphones with diameters from 18 mm to 22 mm using two sets of clips for optimal fit.
• Recommended for shotgun microphones up to 300 mm in length.
• Mountable on standard camera shoe mounts or on boom poles, tripods, and accessory bars with a 1/4"-20 threaded mount.
