This kit includes all three NATO rails for the top & both sides of the RED KOMODO®. They provide secure mounting & rigging points for accessories like handles and rod mounts. The kit also provides the required mounting points for the LeftField range of adapter supports.
This Top Rail attaches to the top of the RED KOMODO®, providing a secure mounting point for top handles and other NATO based accessories. When attaching a Top Handle, a special locating dimple lets you know when it is perfectly centred. The Top Rail also features two military-standard Quick-Detach (QD) points for straps & tethers.
When it comes to fixing, you can choose from threaded, NATO and QD points, or any combination you need. All threaded points are stainless-steel helicoiled for added strength. Helicoil fittings are crucial to prevent thread stripping or binding. An important factor to consider when constantly changing rig configurations.
Each section of this Side & Top Plate Kit is CNC cut from high-grade aluminmium alloy billet, which is then hard anodised for extra durability. The result is highly resilient component, which is also extremely light-weight at only 35 grams each. The low-profile design is also a handy feature when creating compact camera builds.

The Top Rail can be used with the NATO top handle & 15mm top bar bracket. It can also be used with any other standard NATO accessories. The LeftField range of adapter supports can also be added for a secure mount removing any flex.
