The SmallRig MD4149 Cage is designed to securely attach an Apple AirTag to a camera, enabling quick and efficient tracking of the camera's location. It mounts via two 1/4"-20 screws, providing a universal and stable solution for device tracking.

Design and Materials

• The cage features a sleek design that effectively conceals the AirTag.
• The compartment cover is made of polycarbonate (PC) to avoid interference with the AirTag's tracking signal.
• Constructed from durable aluminum alloy and PC materials for strength and lightweight performance.
• Equipped with sturdy M2.5 screws to securely fasten the AirTag, preventing quick removal and maximizing the chance of recovering your camera.
• Includes a built-in EVA pad inside the AirTag compartment to protect the device and reduce noise caused by movement.

Mounting and Expandability

• The AirTag mounting compartment integrates an 18mm through-slot with 1/4"-20 threaded holes spaced at 9-18mm pitch, allowing attachment of additional accessories in various scenarios.
• A hole on the side of the cage enhances Bluetooth proximity tracking distance.

Usage Notes

• After attaching the AirTag to the cage, use the iPhone "Find My" app to track the AirTag up to 10 meters via Bluetooth proximity.
• With extended tracking, the AirTag can be located up to 100 meters or more using the app.
• It is recommended to replace the Torx screws after multiple uses to maintain secure fastening.
• The package does not include the AirTag device itself.
