For the perfect connection with the background system, slide out the antenna. Each row of numbers from left to right is for 1 reel. Buttons 1 and 2 are for reel 1, buttons 3 and 4 are for reel 2 and so on. The remote control has 1 channel. Once you put the batteries in, the remote control is ready to use immediately.
