The SmallRig 4278 Cage is designed specifically for the Insta360 X4 action camera, providing robust protection and multiple interface extension options to enhance filming convenience. Its side-gap design allows unobstructed access to the battery cover, enabling quick battery changes without the need to remove the cage.

The cage fits snugly around the camera body and includes silicone pads inside to prevent scratches, ensuring the camera remains secure and protected during use.

Secure and Tool-Free Installation

The camera is inserted into the cage from above and secured with a thumbscrew locking mechanism, allowing effortless and tool-free attachment. This ensures the camera remains firmly in place even during intense movements.

Accessory Mounting Options

• Built-in 1/4"-20 anti-twist threaded hole on the side for attaching microphones, LED video lights, and other photography accessories.
• Cold shoe mount for additional accessory attachment.
• Foldable action camera feet at the bottom for compact storage.
• 1/4"-20 threaded hole on the bottom for direct attachment to tripods, selfie sticks (such as SmallRig 4758), and other compatible mounts.

Lens Protection

The cage includes a silicone lens cap to protect the camera lens during storage, preventing dust and scratches.
