Camera Protection and Accessory Mounting

The SmallRig 4212 Cage is specifically designed for the Canon EOS R8 to provide robust protection and versatile mounting options for accessories. It secures the camera using one bottom 1/4"-20 screw and two side lock adapters, ensuring a stable fit. Rubber pads are integrated to prevent scratches while maintaining full access to all camera buttons, card slots, flip screen, and battery door.

The cage includes a bottom Arca-Swiss quick-release plate compatible with Arca-type tripods and DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, and RS 3 Pro gimbals. This allows for quick switching between gimbal, handheld, and tripod shooting setups. A screwdriver is included for easy assembly and disassembly.
