The SmallRig "Black Mamba" Half Cage & Cable Clamp (model 3656) is specifically designed for the Canon EOS R5 and R6 cameras. It provides a form-fitting half cage that leaves the camera's handgrip fully accessible while offering multiple mounting points for accessories.

Design and Protection

• The cage is secured with a 1/4" screw and a locating pin at the bottom, as well as through the shoulder strap hole on the left side, preventing any twisting or deflection.
• Built-in silicone pads at several contact points protect the camera body from scratches.
• The "Black Mamba" style maintains full access to all camera controls for ease of use.

Mounting and Compatibility

• Multiple mounting options including 1/4"-20 screws, ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes, and cold shoe mounts allow attachment of accessories such as side handles, top handles, magic arms, microphones, lights, and hand straps.
• Integrated Arca-Type base plate on the bottom is directly compatible with DJI RS 2 and RSC 2 gimbals, enabling quick switching between gimbal, tripod, and handheld shooting setups.
• Built-in spanner on the bottom assists in easy screw removal.

Cable Management

• Includes a hand-tight HDMI and USB-C cable clamp to prevent accidental disconnection and ensure stable signal transmission during filming.
