SmallRig Cage for Canon EOS R CCC2803

The SmallRig Cage for Canon EOS R is a formfitting full cage designed to provide protection and accessory mounting options for your Canon EOS R camera. It secures to the bottom of the camera using a 1/4"-20 screw and includes two anti-twist pins to prevent rotation.

Mounting and Compatibility

The cage features multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes, ARRI accessory threads, and a cold shoe for versatile accessory attachment. This allows mounting of various SmallRig accessories such as:

• Top Handle 2165 or Wooden Side Handle 2093 for handheld shooting
• Ball Head Magic Arm 2070 or Monitor Holder 1842 to attach external monitors
• Cable Clamp 1822 to protect the HDMI cable and port

For users employing the Canon EF-EOS R lens mount adapter, the SmallRig BSA2696 can be used to support the mount and relieve pressure from heavy lenses.

Additional Features

• Built-in Arca Swiss quick release plate on the bottom for tripod compatibility
• Integrated flat screwdriver located on the bottom of the cage for convenient adjustments

Installation Instructions

1. Remove the two anti-twist pins from the cage.
2. Place the camera into the cage and tighten the 1/4"-20 screw on the bottom.
3. Secure the anti-twist pins on the bottom to prevent rotation.
