Design and Features

The SmallRig 2982B is a formfitting full camera cage designed specifically for Canon EOS R5, R6, and R5 C cameras. It maintains full access to the camera's controls while providing a robust framework for mounting various accessories.

• Firmly fixed to the camera using a 1/4"-20 mounting screw and two anti-twist pins on the base plate to prevent any movement within the cage.
• Equipped with multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes for versatile accessory attachment.
• Features several ARRI-style mounts on the top and sides to prevent twisting of mounted accessories.
• Includes an integrated NATO rail on the top and one cold shoe mount for additional accessory mounting options.
• Built-in screwdriver located at the bottom of the cage for convenient tightening of the camera mounting screw.
• Integrated Arca-style plate on the bottom for quick and secure tripod mounting.

The cage supports a wide range of SmallRig accessories to enhance handheld shooting and cable management:
