The SmallRig 3065 Camera Cage is specifically designed for the Sony Alpha 7S III, providing a secure and functional housing for the camera. It firmly locks the camera in place using one 1/4"-20 screw on the bottom and one M2.5 screw on the side, which passes through the shoulder strap holes on the camera side. This cage offers full access to all ports, the bottom, and the battery door of the camera, ensuring uninterrupted usability.

Mounting and Compatibility

The cage features multiple standard mounting points, including numerous 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes, shoulder strap holes, NATO rails, and cold shoe mounts. These allow for versatile accessory attachment such as SmallRig Monitor Mount 2904, microphones, and side handles like the SmallRig Wooden NATO Side Handle 2187 and HSN2093.

Material and Design

Constructed from magnesium-aluminum alloy, the cage is 40% lighter than traditional cages, enhancing portability without compromising strength. It also protects the camera's HDMI port from damage. A magnetic screwdriver is conveniently integrated at the bottom of the cage to assist with assembly.
