Overview

The Laowa Proteus Flex 2X Anamorphic lens set features a unique interchangeable flare system, offering filmmakers flexibility and cost-effectiveness with four flare options: amber, silver, blue, and clear.

Each lens comes with a main body and four flare modules that can be easily swapped in about 10 minutes without needing optical recalibration. This allows for quick adjustments to match production needs.

Flare Options

The new Clear Flare coating minimizes horizontal flare, ideal for a cleaner look when shooting towards bright lights. The lenses have a minimum focusing distance of 48 cm (28mm), 55 cm (45mm), and 82 cm (85mm), producing a thinner and longer bokeh typical of anamorphic lenses.
