Decimator Design MD-LX HDMI/SDI Bi-Directional Converter
Compact and Portable Design
- Dimensions: 60mm x 73.7mm x 23mm (2.4" x 2.9" x 0.9")
- Low power consumption under 2.5 Watts
- Powered via Micro USB port which also supports control and firmware upgrades
- Includes power supply and USB cable (HDMI cable not included)
Bidirectional Signal Conversion
- Converts between HDMI and 3G/HD/SD-SDI video formats
- Supports resolutions up to Full HD 1080p60
- Independent HDMI and SDI input/output connectors
- Supports 3G Level A and Level B on both input and output, with automatic conversion between these standards
Conversion Modes
- Auto Select: Active input routed to all outputs; if both inputs active, performs SDI to HDMI and HDMI to SDI simultaneously
- HDMI IN to SDI OUT and SDI IN to HDMI OUT: Bidirectional cross-conversion
- SDI IN to HDMI and SDI OUT: Distributes SDI input to both HDMI and SDI outputs
- HDMI IN to HDMI and SDI OUT: Distributes HDMI input to both HDMI and SDI outputs
Signal Support and Standards
- SDI input supports SMPTE standards including 625i50 PAL (SMPTE 259M 270Mb/s) and 525i59.94 NTSC
- HD formats supported: 1080p (60/59.94/50/30/29.97/25/24/23.98Hz), 1080i (60/59.94/50Hz), 720p (60/59.94/50/30/29.97/25Hz)
- HDMI input supports matching formats for broad compatibility
- LED indicators: green for HD/3G signal lock, orange for no signal, red for SD signal on SDI inputs, HDMI input lock indicator
