The Blackmagic Design ATEM Studio Converter 2 is an advanced model of the popular ATEM Studio Converter, featuring enhanced communication capabilities, a modernized design, and support for the 6G-SDI standard to enable future Ultra HD video workflows. This device is designed to facilitate live streaming by converting SDI signals to fiber optic and vice versa, allowing long-distance camera connections via cost-effective fiber optic cabling.

Communication and Control
The ATEM Studio Converter 2 enhances multi-camera live production workflows by providing an integrated speaker and microphone input on the front panel, allowing directors to monitor and communicate without headphones. It includes a speaker mute button and rotary volume control. Communication can be selectively muted or activated per camera operator, supporting flexible and robust aerial headsets that offer excellent ambient noise attenuation.
