Polarizing Filter Functionality

Hoya Fusion Antistatic Filter Features

Hoya's newly developed Antistatic coating acts as a protective force field around the filter, repelling dust and reducing the need for frequent cleaning. This coating is water repellent, stain resistant, scratch resistant, and allows easy cleaning of smudges or fingerprints.

The Fusion Antistatic filters are manufactured in Japan using hand-selected silicates that are smelted and blended to produce high-performance optical glass. Hoya applies an improved 9-layer Super Multi-coating formula that significantly reduces or eliminates surface reflections, resulting in ultra-clear glass with a high transmission rate. This ensures the filter does not affect color balance, contrast, or image clarity.
