Display and Build
The Desview R6UHB features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) LED touchscreen with an ultra-high brightness of 2800 nits and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. Its screen offers a wide 178° viewing angle and a pixel density of 401 PPI, ensuring clear visibility even in bright outdoor conditions without the need for a sun hood. The monitor's durable housing is constructed from polycarbonate and ABS plastic, weighing just 240 grams and measuring 186 x 120.6 x 28.75 mm.
An integrated ambient light sensor automatically adjusts screen brightness to suit the surrounding environment, enhancing usability in varying lighting conditions.
Video Input and Output
The monitor supports HDMI 1.4 input and output, compatible with DCI 4K24 and UHD 4K30 signals, scaling them down for display. The loop-through HDMI output passes the original unmodified camera signal to additional monitors or wireless transmitters. Supported input and output formats include various resolutions and frame rates up to 4096 x 2160p at 24 Hz.
Power and Mounting
Power options include a combination battery plate compatible with L-series and LP-E6 batteries, as well as a 7-24 V DC input port. An 8 V DC output port is available to power other devices such as dummy batteries. The monitor includes two 1/4"-20 mounting holes (bottom and right side) for horizontal or vertical mounting, plus a cold shoe mount adapter for camera or cage attachment. A built-in cooling fan ensures stable operation by drawing air from the sides and back and expelling it through the top.
Touchscreen and User Interface
The capacitive touchscreen supports intuitive gesture controls including pinch-to-zoom for quick and convenient operation. Physical buttons are omitted to streamline workflow and allow fast access to settings.

HDR and LUT Support
The R6UHB supports both SDR and HDR monitoring, including HLG and PQ standards, enabling reproduction of images with greater dynamic range and vivid colors. It allows importing up to 3D LUTs via the built-in SD card slot, with a preloaded SD card containing multiple LUT presets. Users can upload custom LUTs via USB-A port using the included flash drive, facilitating professional color grading and creative looks during shooting.
