Dimensions and Structure
The Pop-Up Darkroom features an external metal frame approximately 2.2 meters tall when fully erected, designed to fit within most standard ceiling heights found in European, American, and Asian homes. It provides a practical working space of 1.3 x 1.3 meters, suitable for printing while standing or seated.
Material and Light Tightness
The darkroom is constructed with a durable, light-tight black material that securely clips onto the metal frame. An attachable ground mat is included to protect flooring and can be fastened to the darkroom material to maintain light tightness.
Ventilation Features
- A built-in drawstring 8-inch (approximately 20 cm) vent located near the base allows for the connection of an optional fan or air blower. When sealed, the incoming air can expand the inner dimensions of the darkroom.
- An additional smaller vent near the top is provided for attaching air extraction tubes (not included), facilitating effective air extraction.
Additional Functionalities
- An internal material loop at the top of the darkroom enables hanging a safelight for safe working conditions.
- The entire structure folds down easily for convenient storage or transportation and comes with an included carry case.
