Grip Head Design

The KUPO KCP-220B features a 2-1/2" grip head composed of two rotating aluminum discs attached to a 5/8" (16mm) receiver. These discs include four different sized V-shaped jaws designed to accept accessories with mounting studs or tubing of 5/8", 1/2", 3/8", or 1/4" diameters. The jaws are equipped with teeth that securely grip any mounted item between the plates.

Ergonomic and Durable Construction

This grip head incorporates an oversized ergonomic T-handle and dedicated roller bearings to provide maximum torque and ease of use. The grip head utilizes a non-slip aluminum friction disc that ensures long-lasting durability and offers positive locking strength with precise control.

Its construction centers around a solid steel central shaft with a fixed solid pin securing it to the aluminum casting, enhancing strength and durability. The 20" grip arm is typically used alongside the 2-1/2" grip head, allowing flexible positioning of gobos such as flags, scrims, silks, and other accessories virtually anywhere.
