The FNIRSI LCR-ST2Plus measures electrical parameters of components and is suitable for equipment maintenance and new circuit design. It offers measurements at multiple frequencies and test voltage levels, intelligent component recognition, and features for testing individual components or production batches. Its compact, tweezers-style design, colour display and up to 3 hours of operation on a single charge make it suitable for laboratory and field use.

Measurement Range and Parameter Analysis

The FNIRSI LCR-ST2Plus measures resistance from 10 mΩ to 10 MΩ, capacitance from 1 pF to 22 mF, inductance from 1 μH to 10 H, voltage up to ±30 V, and diode forward voltage up to 0.7 V. In addition to basic values, it displays parameters describing component behaviour, including D, Q, Z, X, θ and ESR. This supports detailed assessment of component properties and suitability for specific applications.

Flexible Measurement Settings

Five measurement frequencies are available: 100 Hz, 120 Hz, 1 kHz, 10 kHz and 100 kHz. Four RMS test voltage levels—0.1 V, 0.3 V, 0.6 V and 1.0 V—allow test conditions to be selected for different components. The tester simultaneously displays equivalent values for series and parallel connections, helping account for parasitic parameters when measuring resistors, inductors and capacitors.

Smart Testing Features

The full frequency sweep mode covers 100 Hz to 100 kHz and analyses a component’s frequency response with a single command. Smart sorting compares measurement results with preset nominal values and tolerances, then classifies components as pass or fail. This can speed up batch testing and reduce the risk of errors.

Component Testing

The tester supports different component types. Straight and curved tweezers-style probes are included for handling small SMD components. A lead with a Kelvin clamp is provided for larger and through-hole components; its four-wire measurement method supports high accuracy. The tester automatically recognises resistors, capacitors and inductors, and displays the two most important parameters of the tested component. HOLD, Max and Min functions are also available, along with customisable system settings.

Display and Design

The 1.47-inch HD colour display presents measurement results clearly. Automatic screen rotation adapts to the device’s orientation for comfortable use by right- and left-handed users. A magnetic attachment allows convenient storage and quick access during work.

Portable Operation and Safety

The compact tweezers-style housing fits easily in a pocket or tool bag. The built-in 300 mAh lithium battery provides up to approximately 3 hours of continuous operation, and the USB-C port supports charging. The tester measures voltage up to ±30 V and includes safety features for testing a wide range of electronic components.
