The Boya Dual Clip-on Lavalier Microphone BY-M2D for iOS is a dual omnidirectional, multi-purpose tie-play microphones and Lightning adapter. The microphone captures sounds in high quality, making it an ideal accessory for interviews, vlogs or any other situation where two voices need to be recorded, both indoors and on location. The microphone connects easily to iOS devices such as iPhone, iPad and iPod using the included Apple MFi-certified Lightning connector. The BY-M2D is compatible with iOS 8.0 or later.

The Boya microphone features an omnidirectional directional directional characteristic. This means that a voice is recorded around the microphone. The signal-to-noise ratio of 76dB ensures that little noise is recorded. In addition, you can use the included foam windshields, so unwanted sounds such as wind are not recorded. The length of the cable (microphone to TRS) is 6 meters, so that you can also record from a greater distance from your device. The 3.5mm TRS to Lightning adapter cable allows you to connect the microphone to the Lightning port on your iOS device. This adapter makes the BY-M2D multi-purpose, because it allows you to connect other microphones and accessories with TRS output to your iOS device (for example the BY-RX8 and BY-MM1).

Usage Boya Dual Clip-on Lavalier Microphone BY-M2D for iOS

You can use the dual microphone with all apps that normally use the internal microphone of your iPhone or iPad. Think of the standard camera app or Dictaphone app. To use the BY-M2D, place the windscreen on the microphones and attach it to your clothing using the clips. Then attach the lavalier microphone to the Lightning adapter. Finally, plug the adapter into your iOS device and start the desired app to capture your recording.
