The Saramonic Umic-M2 is a compact and lightweight microphone designed in gooseneck style that delivers high quality sound and connects directly to multiple wireless transmitters, cameras, audio recorders, mixers and many other devices.

Lightweight and versatile
Even though it is small and weighs only 12g, it has a high-quality omnidirectional condenser microphone that records sound equally in all directions, providing a natural sound even when the speaker turns his or her head or when objects move naturally.

Place it where you need it
You can’t always clip the microphone to your clothes, so the Umic-M2 can be placed on a tabletop, table or other inconspicuous place. Simply connect it to a wireless transmitter or recorder and place it in front of the person when you want to capture high quality sound.

Flexible on-camera solution
The Umic-M2 is also a unique in-camera microphone solution that is ideal for vlogers, youtubers, social media posts or action movies. The compact, lightweight, rotatable and flexible gooseneck allows users to position the microphone in the optimum position and the microphone can be rotated 360 degrees in the 3.5 mm microphone input. It provides dynamic sound that far exceeds the quality of the camera’s internal microphone, and its omnidirectional polar pattern allows the camera operator to move around naturally, resulting in consistent recording quality. Ideal for manual vlogging with DSLR cameras, mirrorless, Action cameras and modern Point-and-Shoot cameras with a 3.5 mm microphone input.

The microphone can be used as a talkback microphone. The range of the UMIC-M2 can be easily extended with any 3.5 mm extension cable, such as the Saramonic SR-SC2500 or SR-SC5000.
