Light Source and Color Temperature

The Yongnuo YN160 III features a built-in LED array consisting of 192 LEDs that emit light at a color temperature of 5500 Kelvin, closely matching natural daylight. The color temperature can be adjusted using the included diffuser to achieve desired lighting effects.

Brightness Control and Indicators

The device includes a brightness control switch allowing adjustment in increments of 10% or precise 1% steps. It is equipped with indicators for both power and battery status, enabling effective monitoring during use.

Power Supply

The light is powered by Sony NP-F series lithium batteries, compatible with models such as NP-F750, NP-F550, NP-F530, NP-F970, NP-F330, NP-F950, NP-F570, NP-F770, NP-F960, and NP-F930 (batteries sold separately). Alternatively, it can be powered via an 8V AC adapter (sold separately).

Mounting and Handling

• Hot shoe adapter included for direct mounting on cameras or camcorders.
