Laowa 17mm f/4 Zero-D Tilt-Shift
Optical Design: The lens features an optical construction of 18 elements in 12 groups, providing a 104-degree field of view. The Zero-D design minimizes optical distortion and eliminates the trapezoidal effect, correcting optically rather than in post-processing.
Tilt-Shift Functionality: The tilt function allows the plane of focus to be tilted relative to the sensor, which can be used to extend depth of field across the scene or create a shallow focus miniature effect with a wide-angle lens.
Aperture and Focus: The 14-blade diaphragm creates a rounded bokeh effect and smooth sun star effect when stopped down. The minimum focusing distance is 25 cm.
Mount and Compatibility: The lens body includes an integrated Arca-Swiss tripod foot for direct mounting without additional plates, and a 360-degree rotation mechanism with clicks every 15 degrees for switching between vertical, horizontal, and diagonal orientations. The front filter thread is 86 mm. When used on medium format mirrorless cameras, the shift is limited to 8 mm.
Available for Sony E, Canon RF, Nikon Z, L-Mount, Fujifilm GFX, and Hasselblad XCD. The L-Mount version is not compatible with Panasonic Lumix S5 II, S5 IIX, S1 II, S1 IIE, or S1R II. Manual focus only.
