Laowa 17mm f/4 Zero-D Tilt-Shift
Laowa 17mm f/4 Zero-D Tilt-Shift optical construction consists of 18 elements in 12 groups, providing a 104-degree field of view. The Zero-D design minimizes optical distortion and eliminates the trapezoidal effect, correcting optically rather than in post-processing. The tilt function allows the plane of focus to be positioned at an angle to the sensor, which can be used to extend depth of field across the scene or create a shallow focus miniature effect with a wide-angle lens. The 14-blade diaphragm produces a rounded bokeh effect and smooth sun star effect when stopped down. The minimum focusing distance is 25 cm.
The lens body features an integrated Arca-Swiss tripod foot for direct mounting without additional plates, as well as a 360-degree rotation mechanism with clicks every 15 degrees for switching between vertical, horizontal, and diagonal orientations. The front filter thread is 86 mm. When used with medium format mirrorless cameras, the shift is limited to 8 mm.
Available for Sony E, Canon RF, Nikon Z, L-Mount, Fujifilm GFX, and Hasselblad XCD. The L-Mount version is not compatible with Panasonic Lumix S5 II, S5 IIX, S1 II, S1 IIE, or S1R II. Manual focus only.
