This ultra macro lens is designed for full-frame Sony E-mount cameras, enabling extreme close-up photography with exceptional image quality. It features a compact, lightweight design with a thin tube and an extended working distance, making it suitable for both outdoor and studio use.
The lens offers a magnification range from 2.5:1 to 5:1, allowing photographers to capture highly detailed images of very small subjects at full frame. Its optical construction includes 8 elements in 6 groups, with a low dispersion element that ensures excellent sharpness across magnifications and minimizes chromatic aberration and fringing.
Thanks to its wide-angle design, the lens provides a significantly greater depth of field compared to longer focal length macro lenses. Both focusing and aperture adjustments are manual, giving precise control over the image.
The lens body is made of metal, measuring 58 mm in diameter and 113 to 165 mm in length, and weighs 440 grams. It does not have a filter thread. A tripod mount accessory is available to attach the lens directly to a tripod head for stable shooting.
