Its optical construction includes 7 elements in 6 groups, featuring one extra-low dispersion element and two aspherical elements to enhance sharpness, reduce chromatic and spherical aberrations, and improve overall image clarity and color accuracy.
An Ultra Multi-Coating is applied to lens elements to reduce flare and ghosting, ensuring higher contrast and neutral color balance even in challenging lighting conditions.
Autofocus and Handling
The lens incorporates a linear STM autofocus motor that works seamlessly with Sony cameras' autofocus systems, delivering fast, quiet, and precise focusing performance. Manual focus override is available for fine-tuning focus manually when desired.
