Designed for full-frame Leica L-mount mirrorless cameras, the Sigma 35mm f/1.2 DG DN Art lens is Sigma's first prime lens featuring a maximum aperture of f/1.2. It delivers outstanding image quality while maintaining optimized size and weight, ideal for challenging lighting conditions.
Optical Performance
- Constant f/1.2 maximum aperture enables shallow depth of field and selective focus effects.
- Incorporates three Special Low Dispersion (SLD) elements to minimize chromatic aberrations and color fringing.
- Includes three aspherical elements, one of which is double-sided, to control spherical aberrations and distortion effectively.
Autofocus and Control
- Equipped with a large Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM) for fast, smooth, and quiet autofocus operation.
- Offers full-time manual focus control via the focus ring.
- Features a de-clickable manual aperture ring allowing silent aperture adjustments, beneficial for video recording.
- Built-in Autofocus-Lock (AFL) button provides additional customizable functions.
Build Quality
- Constructed with weather-resistant materials and a brass bayonet mount for enhanced mounting precision.
- Front lens element is coated with water- and oil-repellent treatment to maintain clarity.
- Rounded eleven-blade diaphragm contributes to smooth and pleasing bokeh quality.
