The Sigma 200mm F2 DG OS Sports is the world's first 200mm F2 telephoto lens designed for full-frame mirrorless cameras. The wide bokeh, compression effect, and exquisite renderings enabled by outstanding optical performance unleash the creator's expressive power, enabling unique photo and video expressions. The lens is the ultimate choice for portrait photography and is also ideal for indoor photography of low-light sports and fast-moving subjects. The HLA (High-Response Linear Actuator) linear motor ensures precise and fast autofocus, and 6.5-stop image stabilization enables comfortable shooting. The dust- and splash-resistant construction, along with the robust design and advanced features of the Sigma Sports line, make the lens extremely reliable in any shooting environment.

Excellent Resolution Even at Maximum Aperture

The optical design with 19 elements in 14 groups, including two FLD and two SLD glass elements, thoroughly corrects axial chromatic aberration and chromatic aberration under magnification, which are easily seen in telephoto lenses, achieving exceptionally high optical performance. Even at wide apertures, it delivers faithful reproduction that maintains high resolution and contrast from the center of the frame to the edges. With the wide bokeh effect enabled by the F2 aperture, which has twice the amount of light of F2.8, and the compression effect of the 200mm focal length, the lens delivers beautiful background blur that highlights the subject and achieves a unique expression. Combined with its exceptional optical performance, it enables impressive portrait photography like no other.

Powerful for Indoor Sports Photography

The f/2 aperture allows for faster shutter speeds even in low-light conditions, making it a powerful tool for indoor sports photography. The wide bokeh highlights athletes' movements and expressions, creating dynamic images. And with high-speed AF enabled by the HLA (High-Response Linear Actuator) motor and Optical Stabilization (OS), the decisive moment won't be missed, even in fast-moving sports scenes. Advanced simulation technology largely eliminates flare and ghosting, ensuring the lens delivers high-contrast results in all conditions. Sigma's Nano Porous Coating and Super Multi-Layer Coating are also used to further suppress flare and ghosting.

High-Speed AF and Optical Stabilization

• The HLA (High-Response Linear Actuator) motor provides high-speed AF, combining fast focusing speed with outstanding accuracy.
• The OS2 optical stabilization algorithm provides an outstanding image stabilization effect of 6.5 stops.
• The lens is equipped with two OS modes: Mode 1 is suitable for general shooting, and Mode 2 is ideal for panning shots in motorsports and other sports.
• In Mode 2, Sigma's Intelligent OS, an algorithm specifically developed for panning shots, enables effective image stabilization even when the camera is moved vertically or diagonally, regardless of the horizontal and vertical orientation.

Heat-Protective Coating and High Weather Resistance

The exterior of the lens body is coated with a heat-insulating paint that effectively suppresses heat absorption from sunlight. This prevents the 200mm F2 DG OS Sports lens from heating up, even during extended outdoor shooting in sunny weather. The mount joints, manual focus ring, zoom ring, custom switches, and external joints are all protected from dust and splashes by a dust- and splash-proof structure. In addition, the front surface of the lens is coated with a water- and oil-repellent coating to facilitate maintenance when water droplets or dust adhere to the lens.

Redesigned Tripod Socket and Various Functions

The new TS-171 tripod mount was designed for use as a carrying handle, featuring a longer base and a greater distance from the lens. The tripod ring features a 90° click mechanism for smooth and secure rotation, and the foot is compatible with Arca-Swiss clamps. There are several features to assist with shooting, including AFL buttons in three different locations, a focus mode switch, a focus limiter switch, an OS (Mode 1/2) switch, and a custom mode switch.

• The structure is dust and splash resistant, but not waterproof. Be careful not to expose the lens to large amounts of water. Water inside the lens can cause serious damage and even render the lens irreparable.
