Its ultra-compact footprint (5.2 x 4.7 x 2.2 inches) retains a reinforced full-size Bowens mount for broad modifier compatibility.
Enhanced Output and Flexible Power
The Halo 100x provides studio-quality light output ideal for content creators and videographers needing powerful illumination in small spaces. It can be powered via the included AC to DC adapter through USB-C PD input or optionally by the amaran Peak series portable batteries. This flexibility supports both stationary and on-the-go shooting scenarios.
Intuitive and Versatile Control
- Onboard control features a TFT screen with a simplified colored menu and separate knobs for brightness and color temperature for quick adjustments.
- Wireless control is enabled via Bluetooth and the amaran app, with instant one-tap NFC pairing even before powering on the light.
- Optional USB-C to 5-pin DMX adapter allows integration with industry-standard DMX consoles and software for advanced lighting setups and cue control.
Accurate and Consistent Color Reproduction
The Halo 100x boasts impressive color rendering indices: CRI 96, TLCI 97, SSI 84 and 74, and TM-30 scores of 94 (Rf) and 102 (Rg). These ratings ensure accurate skin tones and true-to-life colors on camera, providing clean warm-to-cool white light that remains consistent across the adjustable color temperature range.
Creative Lighting Effects and Quiet Operation
The fixture includes nine built-in lighting effects such as paparazzi, fireworks, lightning, faulty bulb, TV, pulsing, strobe, explosion, and fire, enabling creative versatility. Its active cooling system maintains quiet operation at 28 dBA in smart mode, with selectable fan modes to suit sound-sensitive environments.
Wide Compatibility and Mounting Options
