NiSi Nano IR Neutral Density Filter ND8

The NiSi Nano IR Neutral Density Filter ND8 is designed specifically for landscape photographers and videographers. It is crafted from high-quality optical glass with a nano coating that preserves every detail without loss. The neutral density filter does not alter the image coloration, and its 0.9 density provides a 3-stop reduction in light entering the lens.

The filter frame is made of aluminum with an ultra-thin thickness of only 3.5 mm, making it ideal for use even on super wide-angle lenses to prevent vignetting.

Functionality

Attaching this neutral density (ND) filter to your lens uniformly reduces the amount of light entering, which is beneficial when the contrast between highlights and shadows is too great for a quality exposure. The ND filter also enables greater motion blur and enhanced image detail by allowing the use of a larger aperture and/or slower shutter speed.

Infrared Protection

This filter includes an infrared protection coating layer that helps eliminate infrared light passing through the lens, restoring natural color rendition.
