The NiSi ND-VARIO 1-5 Stops True Color is a variable neutral density filter providing an exposure reduction range from 1 to 5 EV (stops). The filter density (ND factor) is continuously adjustable by rotating the filter ring, allowing precise control over light intake.

The front filter ring is marked with numbers indicating different stop values for easy, repeatable density adjustments. It features silver side knurlings for secure grip and easy installation or removal. An optional silver lever is included to assist in rotating the filter ring, which can be used or removed as preferred.

This filter includes built-in hard stops at each end of the rotation range, enabling the user to know the exact density setting during active shooting. It is especially useful for cinematography and video applications, where combined aperture and ND filter adjustments allow fine control of depth of field while maintaining a fixed frame rate.

Designed for both photography and videography, it enables the use of larger apertures and/or longer shutter speeds than would otherwise be possible under current lighting conditions.
