Saramonic Vmic Pro Mark II Overview

The Saramonic Vmic Pro Mark II is a new improved version of an active directional microphone with high sound quality. Its compact and ultra-lightweight body does not weigh down dedicated equipment such as DSLR cameras, camcorders, or audio recorders. It is a great choice for filmmakers as a main microphone, as well as a wired backup in video productions.

Reduced Inherent Noise

The new Vmic Pro Mark II primarily features reduced inherent noise, which positively affects the high performance of the microphone in very difficult conditions.

Updated Main Function Panel

An updated main function panel helps you clearly set the desired microphone settings.

Super-Cardioid Characteristic

The microphone's super-cardioid directional characteristic allows for effective reduction of unwanted ambient sounds, while mainly capturing what can be heard in front of the camera or camcorder, with a small area behind the microphone also being picked up.

Hot Shoe and Shock Mount

The metal shoe with a 3/8" thread allows the microphone to be easily mounted on a variety of cameras, camcorders, various mounts, and photo tripods. The robustly designed mounting system ensures isolation from vibrations during accidental or intentional camera movements.

Panel Features

• Selectable Input Level Control: The Vmic Pro Mark II is equipped with a selectable input level control in three positions (-10dB, 0dB, +20dB), allowing you to lower or boost its volume.
• High-Pass Filter: A high-pass filter (150Hz) attenuates low frequencies.
• Attenuator Function: An additional attenuator function (+6dB) greatly enhances dialogue intelligibility.

Headphone Input

Unlike other brands, the Saramonic Vmic microphone series is equipped with a headphone input from the start. This is a very important feature to properly adjust the sound before recording or to correct optional settings during video recording.

3.5mm TRS Mini Jack Input

Use the detachable 3.5mm TRS mini jack cable to connect your microphone to your camera or camcorder. The non-integrated cable reduces the risk of distortion when connecting to other devices when using additional adapters.

Unlimited Possibilities

The microphone can be connected to smartphones using appropriate cables or XLR adapters.
